Children/Youth
The Bible says, "Behold, children are a heritage of the LORD..." Psalm 127:3
At Grace Bible our ministry is to reach our community for Jesus Christ. To accept Christ as Savior and learn to live for Him. This training helps young children to grow in Christ and lay foundations for their future service to the Lord!
Besides ministering to children, this ministry provides opportunities for men and women to be leaders in the total church ministry.
We have partnered with AWANA Clubs International to accomplish these goals through designed clubs and programs for all ages.
Cubbies
This is a two-year preschool program, which requires parental participation. Designed for the two years prior to kindergarten, Cubbies includes a cute character named Cubbie Bear and a zoo motif. Cubbie Bear encourages children as they achieve in handbooks. Handbooks provide Bible memorization curriculum and stimulating activities designed specifically for preschoolers. The Hopper Handbook (first rank) and Jumper Handbook (second rank) each basic Bible truths about God and the Bible along with popular preschool concepts of colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. "Cubbies" clubbers display their awards on their Cubbies vest, which they wear to club each week.
Sparks
Designed for children in regular kindergarten through second grade, Sparks includes a fun firefly character named Sparky, a red vest with accompanying awards for "Sparkies" to wear, and a nature motif. Sparky firefly encourages and motivates children through handbook achievements. The three handbooks and ranks are for kindergarteners, first-graders, and second-graders. Handbooks provide Bible memorization curriculum and other Bible-centered activities.
Truth & Training
The club for third through sixth-graders, also called T&T, uses gray, casual or T-shirt uniforms with accompanying awards. There are four handbooks in The Ultimate Adventure Series. Book One, Book Two, Book Three and Book Four provide a variety of Bible memorization and other Bible-centered achievements. Characters in the handbooks study outer space, spend a summer at the beach, act in a video set in Israel and go on a great outdoors vacation.
Word of Life
Teens have a lot on their minds, and it's no wonder. What they do and believe can affect their entire Life. Now is the time teens need to uncover for themselves the timeless wisdom of God's Word.
Here at Grace Bible, our place of ministry is to call all teens to put their faith in Christ, follow Jesus' example of discipleship. A call to a lifestyle - one characterized by making a decision for Jesus not in a single, emotional moment, but by making that decision over and over again, every day. Passing on the faith from one generation to another. We believe that the W.O.L. program is designed to reach teens where they are and disciples them.
We take very seriously our part to provide a safe environment for children. We have developed and implemented a "Policy and Procedures Manual" for our entire church. This includes screening workers, training, supervision for all areas of ministry and stay current with legal counsel and professional advice and resources to continue to be of help to us.
